Meadowbrook Golf Club is guided by a team committed to creating a welcoming, sustainable public golf destination for West Memphis and the surrounding region.
Through thoughtful leadership, course stewardship, hospitality, and a shared commitment to service, our team is working to build an experience the community can be proud to call its own.
Brian Michaud
General Manager
Brian Michaud serves as General Manager of Meadowbrook Golf Club, bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience and more than 15 years in golf, hospitality, and recreation management. Throughout his career, he has helped guide organizations through periods of growth and transformation by strengthening operations, developing people, elevating guest experiences, and building cultures rooted in trust, accountability, and service.
At Meadowbrook, Brian views leadership through the lens of stewardship. He is focused on establishing the direction, standards, culture, and shared purpose that will guide the property into its next chapter. His vision is for Meadowbrook to become a welcoming and sustainable public golf destination that West Memphis is proud to call its own, serving its community and drawing golfers from across the region.
A husband, father, working professional, and Penn State World Campus student continuing his education in Business Administration, Brian brings curiosity, humility, and a commitment to lifelong growth to his role. He believes strong leadership means bringing good people together around a shared purpose and creating the conditions for them to do exceptional work.
For Brian, Meadowbrook’s transformation is ultimately about creating something of lasting value: a place that welcomes people in, creates opportunity, strengthens its community, and gives others something meaningful to build upon.
Austin Britton
Golf Course Superintendent
Austin Britton serves as Golf Course Superintendent at Meadowbrook Golf Club, bringing more than a decade of experience in golf course maintenance, turfgrass management, and facility operations.
Austin’s career in golf began at age 15, working alongside his grandfather at a local course. That early introduction grew into a lasting passion and led him to earn an Associate of Science in Turf Management. He later developed his experience at several Memphis-area facilities, including TPC Southwind, Stonebridge Golf Club, Memphis National Golf Club, and Colonial Country Club.
His connection to Meadowbrook began in 2019 as an agronomic consultant with the former Meadowbrook Country Club. Austin returned in 2026 as Superintendent to help guide the course through its renovation and reopening. His work includes rebuilding and growing in the new TifEagle greens, improving bunkers and tees, developing irrigation, and establishing the maintenance operation that will support Meadowbrook well beyond reopening.
For Austin, helping bring Meadowbrook back to life carries special meaning. He approaches the course with respect for the craft and a commitment to leaving it better with each passing season. Away from Meadowbrook, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, coaching youth sports, and occasionally finding time to play golf instead of growing the grass for everyone else.
Daniela Velasco
Food & Beverage Director
Daniela Velasco serves as Food & Beverage Director at Meadowbrook Golf Club, bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience and a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to creating places where people feel genuinely welcomed. For Daniela, hospitality begins with people.
Her leadership centers on building trust, setting clear standards, and giving people the support they need to grow and succeed. She believes that when a team feels valued and takes pride in its work, that care carries naturally into every guest interaction, meal, and gathering.
Away from Meadowbrook, Daniela and her husband enjoy traveling and discovering different cultures, cuisines, and experiences. A lifelong sports fan who grew up playing softball and basketball, she has seen several of her favorite teams win championships in person, including the South Carolina Gamecocks women’s basketball team, the WNBA’s New York Liberty, and the New York Yankees.
Robert “Bob” Guiseppe
Director of Golf
Robert “Bob” Guiseppe serves as Director of Golf at Meadowbrook Golf Club, bringing more than 35 years of business management and customer service experience, including nearly two decades dedicated to golf instruction and player development. A Level III PGA Associate and Class A PGTAA Instructor, Bob has built his career around developing people, strengthening programs, and creating golf experiences that invite others into the game.
For Bob, Meadowbrook should be more than a place to play. He sees it as a vital community asset and is committed to building relationships with local businesses, schools, charitable organizations, and community groups while creating opportunities for golfers of all ages and experience levels.
His leadership is grounded in visibility, approachability, accountability, and attention to detail. Bob believes every golfer deserves a high-quality experience, from regular players to those discovering Meadowbrook for the first time.
Throughout his instructional career, Bob has worked alongside accomplished PGA TOUR professionals and helped develop and expand programs designed to make golf more accessible and enjoyable. Above all, he approaches every interaction with one guiding philosophy: find a way to say yes. His goal is for every golfer to leave Meadowbrook feeling welcomed, appreciated, and confident in their decision to spend their time at the course.
